AI and assistants
The broker assistant
The assistant inside the app: what it can see, how to point it at a record, and what it will never do without asking.
Updated August 2026
The broker assistant is the chat panel available from anywhere in the app. It reads your CRM, meaning contacts, deals, listings, documents, calendar, and commissions, and works against it. It is the same assistant you reach over WhatsApp and, in a different form, through the Claude connector.
Pointing it at the right record
Type @ to tag a listing, deal, or contact. It is the habit worth building. Tagging removes the guesswork about which record you mean, and the answer comes back about that record.
“Draft a follow-up to @Sarah Chen about @1420 Industrial Parkway, referencing the parking question she raised last week.”
What it can do
- Answer questions about your data: pipeline state, stale relationships, what a lease says, what a deal is worth
- Search your documents: it reads the offering memos, leases, and reports in your library and cites where an answer came from
- Draft: emails, follow-ups, listing copy, note summaries
- Read images: paste in a screenshot, a flyer, or a photo of a page and ask about it
- Create internal records: tasks, notes, logged interactions, calendar events
- Propose automations: describe a recurring instruction and it will draft a workspace automation for you to review
What it will not do
It does not send email, text a client, or contact anyone on your behalf. Drafts hand off to your own mail client, where you review and send. That constraint is deliberate, and it is why connecting your inbox never gives the platform permission to send as you.
Voice
The assistant supports live voice, which is the right mode when you are driving between showings. It greets you by name, listens, and answers out loud. Everything it does in voice mode is subject to the same approval rules as text.
Conversations and projects
Chats are saved. You can pin the ones you return to and delete the ones you do not. For longer-running work, a chat project lets you attach a specific set of documents and records so every message in that thread is answered against the same material, which helps when you are working one large disposition over several weeks.
Getting better answers
- Tag records with
@instead of describing them. - Ask for the reasoning when the number matters: “show me how you got that” produces the inputs behind the answer.
- If an answer is wrong, the usual cause is missing source material. Upload the document and ask again.
- Keep contact and deal notes current. The assistant drafts from what you have written down.
Usage
Each assistant turn counts as one AI message against your plan. Deterministic actions it takes, such as creating a task or logging an interaction, do not. See Plans and billing.
